Request Support

# Request Support

We are here to help

If you or someone close to you is going through genuine hardship, Widest Heart Love Foundation may be able to help. Our work focuses on widows, vulnerable children and families in difficult circumstances. Please read the information on this page carefully before you apply.

Applying is not the same as being approved

Submitting an application does not guarantee support. Every request is reviewed individually by our team, and support is offered at the Foundation's discretion, based on verified need and the resources available at the time.

# Eligibility

Who can apply

You are a widow, a vulnerable child or guardian, or a family facing genuine financial, health or housing hardship.
You are the person in need, or a close family member or guardian applying on their behalf.
The information and documents you provide are true, accurate and your own.
You can provide a valid means of identification and a recent photograph.
You do not already have an application under review — one active application per person.
# Before You Start

What you'll need to provide

The application is a short guided form. Have the following ready so you can complete it in one sitting.

Your full name, age and gender
A current residential address and phone number
The category of need — Food, Shelter, Healthcare, Education, Financial Support or Other
A clear, honest description of your situation and what you are asking for
An identification document (PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 500 KB)
A recent photograph of the person in need (up to 500 KB)
# The Process

What to expect — and what not to

What to expect
Your application is reviewed individually by trained Foundation staff.
We may contact you for more information, or to verify your situation before a decision is made.
Your document and photo are stored securely and only ever opened by reviewing staff through a private, time-limited link, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
You will be notified of the outcome — approved or not approved, with a reason where appropriate.
If approved, support is provided in the form the Foundation judges most appropriate for your need.
Approved beneficiaries may be issued a certificate and, where relevant, a QR code for identification on the day of disbursement.
What not to expect
An application is not an approval, an entitlement or a promise of any kind.
There is no guaranteed cash payment — assistance may be in kind, in services, or through a referral.
Support is limited by the resources available and the number of people we are able to help at a given time.
This is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency services.
We cannot guarantee how long a review will take, and we do not process repeat requests for a need already decided.
Any false, exaggerated or borrowed information or documents will void the application immediately.
# Your Responsibilities

What we ask of you

Give complete and truthful information, and upload genuine documents that belong to the person in need.
Respond promptly if our team contacts you for clarification or verification.
Keep only one active application at a time, and wait for a decision before re-applying.
Attend any scheduled interview, home visit or disbursement with a valid means of identification (and your QR code, if one was issued).
Treat Foundation staff, volunteers and other beneficiaries with courtesy and respect at all times.
Tell us if your circumstances change significantly while your application is under review or after support has been given.
Use any support provided for the purpose it was granted.
# Applying on Behalf of a Group

Registering as an organisation

If you represent a shelter, community group, faith-based organisation or NGO that supports several people, register your organisation instead of submitting individual applications.

Register with your organisation name, registration number (if you have one), a named contact person, phone, email and address.
Organisation registration is itself reviewed and approved by Foundation staff before it becomes active.
Once approved, your representative adds and manages beneficiaries from the organisation dashboard.
The administrator sets a cap on how many beneficiaries your organisation may enrol — you cannot exceed it.
For each beneficiary you provide their name, phone, age, location, gender and any other relevant details.
Every beneficiary your organisation adds is subject to approval by the Foundation administrator.
Each approved beneficiary is issued a unique QR code that must be presented on the day of disbursement for identification.
